WMAGC CONSTITUTES SIX-MEMBER AD-HOC COMMITTEE FOR ORGANIZATIONAL REFORM AND GENERAL ASSEMBLY PREPARATION

The World Martial Arts Games Committee (WMAGC), established in 2005, has constituted a six-member Ad-hoc Committee to undertake preparatory, legal and administrative work for strengthening the organization's governance structure and preparing for the forthcoming WMAGC General Assembly and Election for the 2026–2030 term.
The committee was constituted by the authority of the Founder & Life President of WMAGC through Office Order Ref. No. WMAGC/ADHOC/2026/01, dated 25 August 2026.
Six-Member Committee
The Ad-hoc Committee consists of representatives from India, Germany, Great Britain, Iran and Botswana:
Mr. Neeraj Kumar Mehra (India) — Chairperson
Master BK Bharat (India) — Member/Secretary
Mrs. Peggy Bening (Germany) — Member
Mr. Kevin Gunton (Great Britain) — Member
GM Nasrollah Kakavand (Iran) — Member
Shihan Thuto Thuto (Botswana) — Member
Key Responsibilities
The committee has been entrusted with several important responsibilities, including:
Reviewing the existing Constitution/Statutes of WMAGC and preparing a draft of the Updated Statutes in line with the current objectives and organizational requirements of WMAGC.
Coordinating the necessary legal and administrative process for the registration/establishment of WMAGC in India.
Preparing notices, agenda, reports and other official documents required for the WMAGC General Assembly.
Coordinating preparations and arrangements for the WMAGC General Assembly and Election 2026–2030.
Submitting the proposed Updated Statutes, registration recommendations and General Assembly/Election documents to the Founder & Life President and the competent authority for consideration and approval.
Committee to Operate Under Presidential Supervision
The Ad-hoc Committee will operate under the direction and supervision of the Founder & Life President of WMAGC.
The committee will have a preparatory and advisory mandate and will not have the authority to finally amend, adopt or approve the Statutes. All proposed amendments, legal recommendations and major organizational decisions will be submitted to the competent authority and/or General Assembly for the appropriate approval.
The Chairperson, Mr. Neeraj Kumar Mehra, will coordinate the activities of the committee and submit progress reports to the Founder & Life President.
Preparing WMAGC for the Next Governance Cycle
The constitution of the Ad-hoc Committee marks an important administrative step toward strengthening the governance, legal framework and international organizational structure of WMAGC.
The committee will continue its work until completion of its assigned mandate or until otherwise decided by the Founder & Life President or the competent authority of WMAGC.
The proposed reforms and preparations are intended to provide a stronger institutional foundation for WMAGC and its future World Martial Arts Games and international activities.
